Observation of cetaceans

In 2022 we carried out an observation program together with Alex Bocconcelli of Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution in Massachusetts, USA… During the scientific mission undertaken by Blue Observer onboard the iconic sailing vessel IRIS, we performed a whale observation program in the north and south Atlantic (from Boston to St Helena and back to Cap Verde Islands). The objective was to observe and report all of the findings to fill the OBIS SEAMAP database managed by Duke University, USA.
